Characterization of immobilized ionic liquid [hmim][FEP]
In this work, the Fourier transform infrared (FT;IR) spectrum of 1-n-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium tris(pentafluoroethyl)trifluorophosphate ([hmim][FEP]) was assigned. FT-IR spectrum was measured in the 4000 to 400cm-1region. [hmim][FEP]was immobilized on the porous silica gel by physical absorption. The structure were characterized and analyzed by BET surface area and FT-IR spectrum. The results indicated that the ionic liquid [hmim][FEP]has been successfully immobilized on the porous silica gel.
