Abstract
It was often to come across streams with phase changed, which might result in multiple pinch points in the composite curve, in the modern petrochemical industries. When the process system was being synthesized by means of Linnhoff's pinch point technology, sub systems can be obtained based on pinch point location and synthesized effectively. The tests illustrated that the method can reasonably allot process utilities consumption, and it was significant to facilitate the system control, operation and safety.
