Decoupling IMC for multivariable systems based on NLJ random search
The decoupling internal model control (IMC) was investigated for multivariables table processes with different time delays. And this method was extended and app lied to a conventional PID control of DCS equipment by IMC-PID tran sform. All the stabilizing IMC controllers and the resulted closed-loop systems were characterized in terms of the open-loop system’s time delays. The method has an advantage of being simple and easy to realize for the optimization and A PC control of a complex process system like a rectification.
