Application of flow-guided sieve tray to methanol distillation column technical innovation

In the technical innovation of methanol distillation column , the computer was used to simulate the process , and an optimized distillation technical innovation st rategy and the reliable vapor and liquid loads were obtained. After the new type , high efficiency flow-guided sievetray was applied , the product capacity was increased by 170 % , and the energy consumption was decreased by about 47 %. The methanol product’s concentration was increased f rom 99.5 % to 99.9 % and its recovery rate was raised also. The equipment investment for the innovation is RMB 50 000 but the annual benefit increased is about RMB 2.725 million.
