摘要

为制备新型聚氨酯脲微胶囊合成了单体2,2-二羟甲基辛酸。在碱性催化剂下,甲醛和辛醛进行羟醛缩合反应,得到2,2-二羟甲基辛醛,再以过氧化氢为氧化剂,将2,2-二羟甲基辛醛氧化成2,2-二羟甲基辛酸。研究了氢氧化钠用量对羟醛缩合反应的影响,探讨了反应时间和反应温度对氧化反应的影响。用13C和1H核磁共振谱表征了2,2-二羟甲基辛酸的结构。

Abstract

A necessary precursor for the preparation of novel polyurethane urea microcapsules, 2,2-di(hydroxymethyl) octanal, has been synthesized through the aldol condensation of octylaldehyde and formaldehyde, using sodium hydroxide as catalyst. Using hydrogen peroxide as the oxidant, 2,2-di(hydroxymethyl) octanal can be oxidized to 2,2-di(hydroxymethyl) octanoic acid. The optimal amount of catalyst for the aldol condensation has been determined. With respect to the oxidation of 2,2-di(hydroxymethyl) octanal, the optimal reaction time and temperature have been investigated. The structure of the finial product, 2,2-di(hydroxymethyl) octanoic acid, has been characterized by 13C and 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.
